Earlier traffic incidents on the M2 and A2 roads have now been cleared, but motorists are advised to remain cautious following recent collisions in County Down.
At approximately 8:53 PM today, a multi-vehicle crash occurred on the northbound M2 near the motorway services exit. Police are currently attending the scene. While the road is believed to be passable, drivers should expect delays in the area due to the incident.
Shortly after, at around 9:15 PM, another collision was reported on the A2 Belfast-Bangor Road in the Cultra area, near the overbridge by the Folk & Transport Museum, heading towards Bangor. This crash is causing traffic delays, and motorists are warned to anticipate slower travel times.
Earlier crashes on the M2 northbound near the motorway services and on the Belfast-Bangor Road towards Bangor have since been cleared, allowing traffic to resume normal flow.
Authorities continue to monitor the situation and advise drivers to plan for potential delays and drive with care in these areas.
