Police Appeal for Witnesses After Serious Bodfari Crash Injures Seven
A serious traffic accident involving three vehicles on the A541 near Bodfari, Denbighshire, has left seven people injured, authorities confirmed. The crash occurred close to the Downing Arms Inn at approximately 19:42 BST on Wednesday evening.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service responded promptly to the scene following the emergency call. Meanwhile, North Wales Police have closed the A541 in both directions and are urging motorists to avoid the area while emergency services continue their work.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said, “The road remains closed as we deal with the incident. We advise all drivers to seek alternative routes and avoid the vicinity of Bodfari until further notice.”
The scale of the emergency response included multiple fire crews, and air ambulances were reportedly dispatched to assist with the injured, highlighting the seriousness of the collision. Details about the condition of those injured have not yet been released.
Motorists are reminded to stay clear of the A541 near the Downing Arms Inn to allow emergency teams to operate safely and efficiently. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
