Pembroke Town Team has confirmed the return of the town’s beloved Lantern Parade, set to illuminate Pembroke Commons on Saturday, November 28, with a vibrant mix of lights, music, and community spirit. The event promises a spectacular evening of colour and celebration for residents, families, and visitors alike.

Doors at Foundry House, Pembroke, will open at 5.30pm, allowing participants to collect their lanterns ahead of the main procession. This early start ensures everyone is prepared for the communal gathering that defines the event.

The lantern procession is scheduled to set off promptly at 6.30pm, transforming the Commons into a glowing spectacle as the community gathers. Organisers expect the area to come alive with the soft glow of lanterns and festive lights.

At 7pm, PFS Entertainment UK will deliver a spectacular fire show, providing a dramatic and thrilling finale to the evening’s entertainment. This performance is designed to captivate audiences of all ages with its visual intensity.

The parade will feature contributions from The 3 Amigo’s Motorcycle Charity Groups, whose festively decorated motorcycles will help illuminate the route. Their participation adds a unique and colourful dimension to the traditional lantern walk.

Live musical entertainment will be provided by Brig Y Don, ensuring a lively atmosphere throughout the proceedings. Additionally, Papa’s Tacos will be on hand to serve food, catering to hungry attendees during the festivities.

Pembroke Town Team stated: “We’ve been itching to shout about this!” Now that all the bonfire festivities are behind us, we can finally turn our attention to something we’ve been so excited about.

The organisers continued: “The Pembroke Lantern Parade is back, and we honestly cannot wait to see you all once again as we light up the Commons with a magical evening of lanterns, music, entertainment and community spirit.”

The Town Team has expressed gratitude to the Stackpole Estate, Pembrokeshire Coast, Sand Palace Arts, Alche-me Business Solutions, and Monkton Cars for their crucial support. These partners have been instrumental in making the event possible.

Local schools and community groups are encouraged to join in, with organisers hoping for another memorable evening that unites the town. They added: “Let’s make this year’s Pembroke Lantern Parade another evening to remember.” We can’t wait to see the town come together and light up the Commons!
