St Brides Spa and Roch Castle Win Prestigious Pembrokeshire Croeso Awards for 2026
St Brides Spa Hotel in Saundersfoot and Roch Castle have secured major accolades at Visit Pembrokeshire’s Croeso Awards, cementing their status as premier hospitality destinations in West Wales.
St Brides was named Hotel of the Year 2026, while Roch Castle claimed the award for Best B&B, Inn & Guesthouse at the prestigious ceremony.
The recognition for St Brides highlights the extensive refurbishment programme that has significantly enhanced the spa retreat since The Celtic Collection began managing it for The Port of Milford Haven in 2024.
Roch Castle, a partnership between The Celtic Collection and Retreats Group, was honoured for its luxury boutique offering within a restored 12th Century Norman fortress.
The property is celebrated for its spectacular location atop a rocky outcrop, offering guests breathtaking 360-degree views of the surrounding Pembrokeshire coastline.
Julie Hammond, Chief Executive of The Celtic Collection, said: “We are absolutely delighted to win these awards and congratulations to the teams at St Brides and Roch Castle whose commitment and dedication make this recognition possible.”
She added: “These awards shine a light on the incredible hospitality we have in West Wales and the people who work hard every day to give visitors a reason to choose Pembrokeshire and Wales.”
The Croeso Awards add to a year of exceptional achievement for the group, which was named Hotel Group of the Year at the AA Hospitality Awards in September.
Its flagship property, Celtic Manor Resort, also completed a notable double by winning Best UK Hotel at both the Meetings & Incentive Travel and the Conference & Incentive Travel Awards.
Beyond the stage, The Celtic Collection’s culinary and restaurant teams helped Pembrokeshire College students prepare for and deliver the ceremony through a collaborative mentoring programme.
Emma Thornton, Chief Executive of Visit Pembrokeshire, said: “The Croeso Awards are an opportunity to recognise the hard work, creativity and care that go into welcoming visitors to Pembrokeshire.”
She continued: “Behind every winner is a person or team committed to making their guests’ experience special.” This year’s winners reflect the breadth of our tourism industry, from distinctive places to stay and eat to memorable activities and businesses helping make tourism more inclusive and sustainable.
